Introduction

Noureen DeWulf proves that a strict Muslim household can create one of the sexiest women on the planet.DeWulf, an Indian American who was raised Muslim, was born in New York City, New York, and was raised in Stone Mountain, Georgia. Her parents are from Pune, Maharashtra, India. She attended Boston University.

Career

The Indian-American Noureen DeWulf recived national attention for her very first movie, a short film called West Bank Story about a Palestinian cashier who falls in love with an Israeli soldier. The film won the 2007 Academy Award for Best Live Action Film, despite the fact the film was two years old. 

She used her success to get small roles on shows such as Numb3rs and CSI: NY. She also had a small role in the Hugh Grant comedy American Dreamz with Mandy Moore and played PooPoo in National Lampoons: Pledge This (2006) with Paris Hilton. Noureen played "Mindy" in the 2005 Carsey Werner pilot Mindy and Brenda produced by Steve Martin for the WB that was not picked up. More recently she appeared in Ocean's 13 (2007) and the sports spoof The Comebacks (2007). She was ranked number 100 on Maxim's Hot 100 List for 2007.

DeWulf was raised in a conservative Muslim household, but that doesn't stop her from being silly on camera. She starred in three failed TV sit-coms, had a role in the romantic comedy Ghosts of Girlfriends Past (2009), and appeared in the David Foley comedy The Strip (2009). Other recent projects for Noureen include The Taqwacores (2009) and The Goods: Live Hard, Sell Hard (2009). Up next for Noureen are the movies The Back-Up Plan (2010) with Jennifer Lopez and The 41 Year Old Virgin Who Knocked Up Sarah Marshall and Felt Superbad About It (2010). Yes that's an actual movie. Straight to DVD, but a movie nonetheless. She will also be in the MTV series "The Hard Times of RJ Berger" and has a recurring role on the medical drama "Hawthorne."
